Doing the right thing - SUSOL Nipper
The Bailey SUSOL nipper was made with sustainability in mind. It uses around 35% less steel than other single use nippers currently on the market.
So, how do we do this?
The instantly recognisable blue handles were designed to absorb shock thus reducing the likelihood of repetitive strain injury in the hand and wrist. They also slot into the handles allowing a significant reduction in the amount of steel used to fashion the super-comfortable handles.
There is no visible spring. It is there – inside the box joint. Not only does an internal spring reduce the chances of tearing a glove when used, it reduces the amount of steel, once more.
And finally, size matters. The Susol nipper is 13cm in length so, a little smaller than many 14cm reusable patterns.
Should your organisation wish to recycle the Susol nipper, the process carried out will incinerate any debris such as nail, skin or body fluids then, go on to recover the metals used in manufacture.
Bonus benefit of SUSOL for your business is that you will save time on sterialisation, giving you time to treat more clients or invest in some ‘me-time’.
